SIA DOOR SUPERVISOR

The  Door Supervisor course is a mandatory training required to work as a Door Supervisor. The door supervisor  SIA licence  offers you a rewarding career as a security officer and it's brilliantly unique, in the sense that it qualifies an individual to work as a Door Supervisor and Security Guard.  A door supervisor is qualified to work in entertainment venues where alcohol is being served, such as hotels, casinos, nightclubs and other venues. In the UK, all security industry qualifications are specified by the SIA and offered through the awarding bodies. The Door Supervision course is a 4 day training and our highly experienced SIA trainers will deliver only the best of security training that innovatively produce excellent results.                                                                                                                                      

The Door supervision course consists  four modules, namely:   

1.    The Common Security Module; this module comprises the following 6 units:

•    The private Security Industry
•    Communication Skills and Customer Care
•    Awareness of the Law in the Private Security Industry
•    Health and Safety for the Private Security Operative
•    Fire Safety Awareness
•    Emergency Procedures
   
2.    Door Supervision Specialist Module; this module comprises the following 8 units:

•    Introduction to Door Supervision
•    The Door Supervision and the Law
•    Arrest
•    Licensing Law
•    Searching
•    Drugs
•    Recording Incidents and Crime Scene Preservation
•    Emergency Procedures

3.    Communication Skills and Conflict Management; this module comprises the following 4 units

•    Introduction
•    Preventing Conflict
•    Managing Conflict
•    Learn from Conflict

4.    Physical Intervention Skills; this module comprises the following 5 units:

•    The Legal and Professional Implications of using Physical intervention
•    Reducing the risk of harm when using Physical Intervention
•    Good Practice following Physical Intervention
•    Practical Training in non-pain related physical skills to protect yourself and others from assault
• Practical Training in non-pain related standing, holding and escorting techniques including non-restrictive and restrictive skills
